How hard are our councillors working for us?

I have decided to keep a record of attendance for all council meetings that are recorded on the City of Tea Tree Gully website for anyone to look at. The idea behind that is, as the councillors are taking an allowance and part of that allowance is attending regular meetings, I want people to be aware of just how many are actually being attended. Obviously we are all human beings and life can throw curve balls our way, so I would expect there to be some missed, but they should be attending most.

Since Elected to end of 2023/2024 Financial Year

Below is a breakdown of the attendance from the their first meeting since elected to the end of the 2023/ 2024 financial year

There are also different totals across each member because I have taken into account committees / panels where attendance was expected.

2024 to 2025 Financial Year

Note: On 8 October 2024 Cr Tammie Sinclair resigned from their position on council citing that "several factors, including personal and parental considerations" are the reason for their resignation

2023 to 2024 Financial Year

Below is a breakdown of the attendance from the 2023 to 2024
A couple of things to note:
Late - Recorded as attended late
Apologies - This is generally a last minute absence
Absent - This is generally a pre-organised absence

There are also different totals across the board because I have taken into account committees / panels where attendance was expected. These included:

Note: Councillor Damian Wyld resigned in november 2023 due to illness, being replaced by Lyn Petrie
